Where is the best place you’ve traveled to and why?

I absolutely love everything about the Caribbean life! My favorite place to date that I’ve traveled to St. John USVI because of the small town feel and the beach allows you to walk so far out and just hang out in the water the entire day and the protected natural habitat allows for you to see many of the sea life up close. I love the culture, food and beaches!

What is your favorite thing to do?

Some of my favorite things to do are Karaoke, Singing in church and arts and crafts, traveling and “Girls Day Out” with girlfriends or my teen daughter.

What advice do you have for someone who is struggling with their health?

I would advise to take one day at a time, start a medical log to figure out trends, trust your medical care team, and get to know your body.

I absolutely adore living in San Antonio. It’s my hometown. The people are always so down home and welcoming. Also, the Tex Mex food and diverse cultural events.

I love working with the sweet staff. Dr. Hansen and Amanda are not just sweet but very informative so I’m learning different ways to be healthier and not just care for my symptoms but my overall wellness.

In the last 5 years I’ve developed the belief that “I am the keeper of my peace” and I can control if I let toxic people and attitudes bring me down and I give myself more time for self care.

WIf you could have a gigantic billboard somewhere with anything on it – metaphorically speaking, getting a message out to millions or billions – what would it say and why?
