What do you like most about your position at Hansen Health Solutions?
I love talking to people and hearing about their problems as well as their goals to better themselves.
What is your favorite thing to do?
My favorite thing to do is anything with my mom. We are best friends and always have a blast no matter what we are doing. I feel blessed to have her in my life and hope that she’s around for a long time to come.
What advice do you have for someone who is struggling with their health?
Figure out the reason for health issues; don’t just put a bandaid on the problem. It doesn’t fix anything but often makes things worse because it can mask what is really going on or allow a problem to get worse.
What are bad recommendations you hear in your profession or area of expertise?
When a doctor prescribes a medication, then prescribes another medication because of the side effects from the first one. We are an over-medicated population!
If you could have a gigantic billboard somewhere with anything on it – metaphorically speaking, getting a message out to millions or billions – what would it say and why?
My billboard would say DO UNTO OTHERS AS YOU WOULD HAVE THEM DO UNTO YOU. I learned this at a very young age and I think we should all be a little nicer to each other and respect one another.
When you feel overwhelmed or unfocused, or have lost your focus temporarily, what do you do?
PRAY. I turn to God when I feel overwhelmed, lost, or confused. I also turn to him during times of happiness, not just times of need.
In the last five years, what new belief, behavior, or habit has most improved your life?
Let go of the past and live in the present moment…because tomorrow is never promised.
What do you like most about San Antonio?
I’ve only been in San Antonio since 2022 but so far what I like most is the Mexican food. I’m from Austin and you guys got us beat by a mile when it comes to that!
